A Friday afternoon post...

John having fun running in the hall at the hotel.
Action shot of Sebastian running in the hall!
Smiley Cate!
John
Holly was teaching Sebastian what smile was in English by making a smile shape with his mouth, now, everytime we say smile for the picture, he uses his finger to draw a smile.

So the kids and mama are down for a nap! So far the day has gone well. This afternoon we're planning on taking a long walk to a large park with another family staying at the hotel. Looking forward to getting out for a few hours. I'm starting to adapt to the thinner air...we're at about 8,700 feet (versus Minneapolis which is about 850 feet). Last week I found myself gasping for air when I'd need to run up one flight of stairs for a clean diaper. Then again for the wipes. Then again for a car/coloring book/ etc. Even when we'd go for walks around the hotel I'd start feeling a bit winded after a few minutes! It probably doesn't help that there isn't much for emission control down here so buses, trucks, and cars are all belching out serious exhaust.

Cate has been a little bit mellow today so I'm not sure if she's feeling 100% but she hasn't blown out any diapers so Holly and I are pretty excited about that!! The boys continue to open up and today were literally running up and down the main hall having a great time. I think Sebastian was trying to race but John was just happy to be following his big brother!

As you can see we're managing well and nothing really more to talk about! Hope you all are doing well!! Adios from Colombia, Rhett

Oh my gosh...these pictures are absolutely PRICELESS!! Seriously cute kids. We will try not to scare them away (Jake is VERY social!) by wanting to hug and hug and hug them when we get there!

Gosh these pics are great! Love the close-up of John...what a heartbreaker he'll be!

Sounds like good news as far as the court you were assigned! That's super! The other family with the slow judge probably has the judge we had. As hard as it is at the time, we can honestly find so many blessings out of being there for more than 9 weeks.

However, with three new kiddos, and Rhett leaving on Tuesday, I am pouring out the prayers for a very speedy sentencia!

Thinking of all of you often,

Kelly and clan
