6-21-10

They play with the craziest toys, the orphanage sent miscellaneous toys with us and they don't mind that there is no rhyme or reason to them. Rhett said we were just going to buy them cardboard boxes.
My girl on the move. She finally showed us today how she can crawl!
The girls! Cate coming out of her shell! She was jabbering all day!

Daddy with the boys on Father's Day! Thumbs up!

ah for God's sake. I finally get back on here :) Sorry. I was in Chicago and didnt have your link :(
So i rushed home to read what the heck is going on :) They are amazing and you both are amazing!!

Ok stop trying to figure out the food thing. Cam has been eating the same four things his entire life and has never eaten white bread til this year (almost 12) I also wonder if there is a little testing going on there. :) I know that other parents have commented on their "older" kids shoveling food in(to the point of being sick!)cleaning their plates etc. All because they know it is meal time or they might not get food for awhile (as great as the orphanages are!)

YES! The best toys are Mcd's crap, the boxes and bubble wrap the GIFTS come in... watch for packing peanuts-the greatest and the worst to pick up. We have always said our kids fav toys were I would throw an old lunch box in the car filled with tiny crap toys and the kids acted like they had never seen anything so great! so save your dinero!

You are all doing so well! I am so proud of you in rollin with the punches.

Please give everyone at LP my love as well as my darling Cecilia. BIG LOVE TO HER PLEASE!

Keep going! You are awesome!!! Jodi

Holly and Rhett -
Congrats to the two of you and your babies! I'm enjoying reading your blog and the journey...many prayers are continuing to come your way as your make your trek back to MN. Your family is beautiful, and I must comment that I love the fact that your daughter is a Cate (with a C), as my Catherine is a Catie!
Love and prayers to the 5 of you.

Wow, you guys have such great attitudes and things seem to really be coming along! So happy to hear the kids seem better. Loving all the pics, especially the ones with you with the kids...so fun!

I stopped trying to figure out my kids and food a long time ago. Gosh, they love something one week and don't the next. It's crazy, but I try not to let it bother me anymore. They say kids need to be introduced to something twenty-some times before they truly can say if they like or don't like something. My kids have changed from week to week and from year to year. Hopefully that helps you to not feel too stressed about it.

So happy to hear things went well with the defendor. That can be stressful, but I remember feeling like it wasn't so bad after it was all over.

Kids with great imaginations will play with ANYTHING! That is a good thing, actually!

And, yes, a 25 minute walk together can be just what we need sometimes. It's important for couples to do things like that, too. If momma aint happy, nobody is happy! Or something like that.

Have you met Muriel, the sweater lady, yet? I just loved her! So sweet! How about Freddy? Has he driven for you?

Look forward to your daily posts. Sweet dreams.
