We have heavy hearts tonight in Bogota. We found out that our uncle/brother-in-law Roger passed away this afternoon. To Pat, Keith, Jeff, Scott, the daughter-in-laws, grandkids and the whole Spanier family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. I will never forget making the trip to Arizona when he was in the hospital, good ole Roger, could always give us a good laugh. His sense of humor and one-liners will be greatly missed by all! Mom and I wish we could be there to cry with you and of course celebrate his life with you. As I am typing this, I just think of all of his jokes and I still laugh...he sure knew how to deliver the best of them. Mom and I were talking at the dinner table tonight, that he told her that he was going to have one last Christian Brothers before he passes...we don't know if he was able to do that, but cheers to uncle Roger, may you rest in peace.

So sorry to read about the loss of your Uncle Roger & your Mom's brother-in-law. Imagine both of you wish you could have been home to attend the funeral & be there with your aunt/sister & family. Our sympathies are with you, your Mom, & Roger's family.
